CatSynth Dr. Zülch is a small, passionate Eurorack module company, founded on the idea of combining precise engineering with the playful openness of modular synthesis. We develop compact, reliable tools for musicians and sonic explorers who would rather patch than scroll.
What we stand for
Our commitment is to clarity: in function, in sound, and in communication. A CatSynth module should be immediately understandable, respond in a musically meaningful way, and fit into any setup – from the very first rack to a complex live system. For us, “compact” doesn’t mean “compromised”, it means “focused on what matters”.
What we build
We’re best known for our slim 2HP “Slimline” modules, which make classic building blocks of the modular world accessible in the smallest of spaces. Complementing these, we design thoughtful utilities and helpers that streamline workflows, keep your groove steady, and speed up creative decision-making.
How we work
Development and testing are carried out with a strong focus on robustness, repeatable behaviour, and clear specifications. Every circuit undergoes iterative measurement and listening tests before it goes into production. We manufacture in small batches with reliable partners, test every module, and place great value on documented, traceable quality – from the individual component to the final inspection.

You can get our modules within the EU directly from our webshop at shop.catsynth.de.
For international customers, we work with selected distribution partners, including Juno (UK). This keeps access straightforward, no matter where your rack is located.
